Joining your chapter
Tap your chapter's invite link, or enter its invite code in the app. Both are in your chapter newsletter, or ask your activities officer.
With the link, the app opens with the code already filled in. Sign in, then tap Join (or Finish on the welcome steps).
Steps
- Sign in. If you're new, the last welcome step is Join your chapter. Type the code and tap Finish.
- Skipped that step? Home shows Join a chapter until you're in one. Type the code in the Invite code box and tap Join.
- You'll see "You're in." Some chapters approve new members first. Then you'll see "Request sent. A chapter officer will approve you soon."
- Once you're in, find your chapter's challenge on Home and tap Join this challenge.
Joining a second chapter
- On Home, tap your chapter's name at the top of the screen.
- Tap + Join a chapter with an invite code.
- Enter the other chapter's code and tap Join.
Switch between your chapters from that same menu.
Good to know
- Joining a chapter and joining a challenge are two steps. You need both before you can send photos.
- If you see "That invite code didn't match a chapter," check the spelling or ask for the current code. Officers can make a new code, and the old one stops working.
- A challenge that hasn't opened yet may show Join when it opens. You can join early.
- One account works in every chapter. Your H.O.G. ID and emergency contact go with you.
- National challenges show on Home too: H.O.G.'s 50 Rides, One Nation and 15 for '26, plus Dealer Visits (stop in at Harley-Davidson dealers on your rides). You're already in; there's nothing to join. Tap See all stops, nearest first to find one, or let the ride planner point them out when a ride passes nearby. In Profile, under Riding preferences, choose how far off your route to look and how many to suggest per ride.
