Invite your activities officer and other officers
Board members get an officer invite: a one-time link, tied to their email, that makes them an officer when they accept. Open Chapter console, then Officers, and under Invite a board member who isn't on the app yet enter their email and, if you like, their position. They get an email, sign in with that address, and they're in. The link lasts 14 days; cancel it from the same list. Someone who's already a member can be given a position on the same page.
Your activities officer (approves photos)
- Send them an officer invite (above) and wait until they've signed in.
- Open Chapter console from the menu (top right), then the Challenges tab, and pick your challenge. Results and Review for each challenge are right under its name.
- Under Who runs it, choose them under Add a person, pick Manager, and tap Add.
- Open the Settings tab. Under Who approves photos, pick Only the people assigned to each challenge.
Now every photo for that challenge goes to their review queue, including officers' own photos. A manager can also change the challenge: stops, dates, and the card. Pick Reviewer instead of Manager if they should only approve and reject photos.
Other officers
- Help with photos on one challenge: add them under Who runs it as a Reviewer (photos only) or Manager (runs that challenge).
- Run the whole chapter (members, places, invite codes, settings, every challenge): on Officers, under Give a member a position, pick them, enter a position and a start date, and tap Assign. Anyone with a running board position is an officer.
What each role can do
- Member: rides, sends photos, and sees the leaderboard.
- Reviewer: a member who can also approve and reject photos for the challenges they're assigned to.
- Manager: a reviewer who can also set up the challenges they're assigned to (Home shows Set up the challenges you manage).
- Admin: everything in Chapter console, every challenge, and emergency contacts. Every emergency-contact lookup is recorded with your name and the time.
Good to know
- With Who approves photos set to Any chapter officer, every admin can approve photos. With Only the people assigned, admins can approve only while nobody is assigned to that challenge.
- Officers can approve their own photos, and the dashboard flags them. To make someone else approve them, tick Officers can't approve their own photos in Chapter settings.
- To step someone down, tap Step down next to them under Current board on Officers, or Remove next to them under Who runs it for a per-challenge role.
